Our Thesis

Why early-stage de-risking matters

Energy projects fail to reach financial close far more often because of unresolved technical, commercial, and regulatory risk than because the underlying asset is unsound. The work required to resolve that risk — feasibility studies, due diligence, permitting, financial modelling, structuring — is exactly the work that is hardest to fund, because no one will pay for it until the project looks investable.

We built Titanium Capital to sit in that gap. We commit capital and technical resources at the point of greatest uncertainty, do the work needed to resolve it, and take a modest equity position in return. By the time a project reaches us through to financial close, the risk that kept other capital away has been substantially addressed.

What Makes Us Different

Capital is the smaller part of what we bring

01

Capital and expertise together

A cheque alone does not de-risk a project. We pair our capital with the technical work needed to actually move it forward.

02

A small, aligned position

We target up to 10% equity — enough to be genuinely invested in the outcome, not enough to need control.

03

A network, not a headcount

Rather than building every discipline in-house, we mobilize a network of specialist partners suited to each project.

Our Network

World-class expertise, assembled per project

No single firm holds every discipline a project needs — geotechnical engineering, offtake structuring, environmental permitting, legal and tax structuring, EPC selection, and more. Titanium Capital maintains a network of technical, engineering, legal, and financial partners, and assembles the right combination for each project rather than forcing it through a fixed in-house team.

This keeps the work specific to the project in front of us, and gives our partners — and the financial institutions who eventually finance the project — confidence that the studies and structuring behind it were done to the standard their own due diligence requires.

Leadership

Energy, finance, and engineering experience

Titanium Capital is led by a team with direct experience across upstream, midstream, and power projects, paired with the financial and structuring background needed to take early-stage work to financial close.

Part of the Titanium Group

Titanium Capital is a member of the Titanium Group, a diversified holding structure spanning capital, advisory, and energy-related ventures.
